Default Need some suggestions guys!

Before everyone tells me to search i went through countless pages of similar problems but couldnt find a solid answer. I hesitated for 2 weeks to post this but i couldnt come up with a soloution.

Heres a rough list of mods..
Built engine.
Skunk2 throttle body cant remember size lol.
Sos sc kit.
not sure if this matters? synapse bov.
haltech ecu.

Ok guys heres a rundown of what sort of problems i am encountering.

Rough idle when car warms up, it goes from 1,500rpm - 3,000rpm varies all the time.
Sometimes it goes back to normal when i blip the throttle, but as soon as i put the clutch in to engage it usually revs back up.
When i do blip the throttle i can hear a slight sound coming from somewhere around the intake side, sounds a little like a screech maybe its the butterfly? Not real sure.
I tried to listen for the sound when the car is off but its nice and smooth not sticky at all when the cars off.
It gets stuck and when i pass that point where its stuck the car hops like crazy.. its a real challenge to drive especially accelerating in say 2nd gear lowish revs, makes me look stupid!

My guess is the map sensor has shit itself, but i want to make sure instead of ordering one and waiting for it to ship etc etc.. i want to make sure im not just wasting more money for nothing.

I checked the throttle cable it had a bit of play in it, i tightened it up so theres only a small amount of play. Did nothing to fix the squeeking sound nor did it fix my problem.

If i was to replace the map sensor with a 3 bar sensor, since my car has been tuned am i going to come across any problems? if so where can i obtain the settings for the haltech? As far as i can see most companies only offer settings for hondata and aem.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

You can't change to a different map sensor without having to retune. Also did the problem start at the same time you put the skunk2 throttle body on? Because the civic throttle bodies will fit but the vacuum ports dont line up and will create a huge vacuum leak (high idle). Where did you get the throttle body from?

Hmm.. My map sensor sits upside down for some reason, I didn't think it was right. U have a point this might be a civic one. I will check with the model numbers

The serial number is 309-00369

My car had this problem, it's all in the cold start tune for me. It kept on revving on me same has you explained. We hopped on the aem and messed around with the idle and problem fixed.

Not necessarily. You can't change a sticky throttle setting in the ecu lol. Either you have the wrong throttle body or your throttle body needs to be cleaned because it isn't closing all the way causing a high idle. Is there alot of carbon buildup around the throttle body plate when you take your intake piping off?

It's probably your map sensor. I had an Integra that developed random rpms. The abnormal behavior stopped after replacing the map sensor.

Ok guys I'm looking at getting a 3bar map sensor.. For haltech can anyone tell me the settings to change from oem? Most probably I will go with the SOS map sensor.
