Default Never-ending turbo build

Im now at the stage of buying the fab peices to my custom turbo kit.

Maybe I have trust issues but Im having trouble deciding on which company to go with on manifold, dp, and dt. It's a lot of money and i want to purchase a set that has a good track record on making good power and durable.

I've been looking into PFAB, MASE, and INLINEPRO. My choices are those in that order respectively.

Any other suggestions? thoughts?

i say wait a little while to see if there are any problems/issues with the ptuning kit

that one seems super complete, well thought out and a good price.

AFI and Full Race are also great choices.

Fullblown has some nice manifolds and have not heard of any issues with them.

I'm old school.

Piece together your own, and not only will you get EXACTLY what you need/want. You are also forced to learn the in's/out's of a turbo kit as well.

2 birds/1 stone.

Make sure to look into some of the options before you buy. Do you care if the downpipe mates up to the OEM cat location? Do you care if the wastegate & BOV vent to atmosphere vs being recirculated? Do you need an O2 bung on the downpipe?

Every kit has compromises. It's just a question of which compromises you prefer. I'd lean toward Ptuning, Pfab ELT or Full Race.

Also depends on how much work do you want to do yourself or have someone do for you. Is keeping your stock battery, fuse, oil locations important to you? How much fab work for the exhaust system and intercooler piping do you want to do etc. Personally I wanted something that kept the factory locations in tact, was direct bolt on without major modifications etc. The Ptuning kit can give you all of the above and for what you get, is a great deal.
