Talking new comer to greddy turbo kit

hi, ill be installing the greddy turbo kit here shortly but am makeing some modifications first. currently i have the 70 mill invidia dual exhaust and test pipe, it sounds like ill be haveing some boost creep issues with this exhaust and plan on porting the wastegate. ive read some members have been able to control boost creep with this mod and run even larger exhausts. id like some opinion on this before i go takin material away. i am using an ap2 greddy kit (on an ap1) and rerouted the tps wire directly to the ecu instead of threw the emanage. is there anything else i need to change to use the ap2 kit on my ap1? i am also installing the greddy rs bov and, tapping an oil drain bung into my oil pan and an o2 bung into my testpipe. im thinkin i should get a boost controller, is there one that works well with the emanage? is there anything else i should do before i start the install?
thanks, Jethatch
aka soon to be member

porting the WG should help with creep... I have just been using a MBC for the last while but a EBC would be better.. Profec B would work well.... U only need one if u want to boost more than 7 psi tho right.... Have you read the thread i WG?? If not do a search... ull find it.... everything should work out fine r u.. Im not sure about the wiring for the different kits.,, but im sure there is a thread on it or discussed in the greddy thread.. good luck

i am going to be getting my greddy press sensor soon from an s2k member and ill start shoppin for the gm parts right away. local junk yards i guess.
my turbo is all prepped for porting tomorrow. either way dont you think this will be beneficial? eventually im gonna go with the 3mm head gasket and i wanna push 15 to 20 lbs and i want it to be controllable. this sound like a good way to do it and still make due with the ultimate. thanks so much for the info. can i get a look at your sub injector map so i can help my tuner understand this.

i've heard of people doing 14 psi but I don't think the hp gain is worth it from 12 to 14 IMO

Yeah, there not much left after 12psi, you may make make some HP but its not worth the extra boost. Joey balls pretty much tested this out for use. 12psi and meth is pretty much the max. You could run 14psi but I bet will will fall down to 12psi

yah if u want to go higher than 12 psi you might want to eventually get the gt30 upgrade for the kit... I am currently running this with larger charge pipes and bigger injectors.... I am looking into the 3mm HG this winter.. the only real thing holding us back would be the little log manifold...(restrictive)... I might be the first to try tis with th 3mm.. Its either going to a success or bust.. time will tell
