Default new engine

hiya guys i am in the uk, and since we have very few S/C or turbo S2000 in the uk and not much of the way of tunning for them, i just fancied some advice due to tthe following.

I am having my short block and cyclinder head as we speak built by laskey racing, compression 9:1 if i recall correctly, cp pistons, acl bearings benson selves and supertech head, etc etc

however i am pondering whether to s/c it or turbo the new engine, i have had figures banded about of 600+ with the turbo but just advice needed really as i have 6 weeks to decide.

I hope this makes sense and excuse anything that i am incorrect about,

cheers guys

phil

Your not hitting 600+ with a supercharger. Turbo would be the way to go

Being RHD you may have issues of component placement... Check the AUS forum for experience in that regard.

GT35R is capable of 600hp so you'd be good to go.

I think there are 2 being done at the mo in the UK and 1 in Ireland, lucky77 is one of them, give him a shout.

I forget the name of the other UK guy, his kept a bit quiet with only little hints.

Sideways used to get some good power out of his Vortech SC, that's if you want the easy fitting route.

thats the only thing the fitting of supercharger will be alittle mor eeasyier to fit, thas the reason it was going to be shipped to the usa, as mase could make and desgin one for RHD so that it then could be produced for the Uk market.

so just trying to weigh it all up.

i have two options regarding the head, i leave it with standard size supertech valves in or i get it port flowed and polished and have oversize ones it, just weighing up the gains to cost issue
