Just got mine today and it looks good. Just to verify the vacuum source is going to be attached on the bottom of the diaphragm rather than the top correct? If I am not mistaken Vacuum on the bottom of the diagram will hold the wastegate piston closed and positive pressure would open it. If that is the case should the port on the top of the wastegate be vented to atmosphere or sealed with a plug?

Also, if I tighten the set screw on the top of the wastegate will this increase the spring pressure and delay the dump opening unit higher boost pressures correct?

Thanks Again, I am excited to get this installed.

Any more reviews from those people who bought one of these? Did anyone with an SC setup purchase one? Any more installed pictures/videos?

they gotta make money i understand, and if they are paying a employee to build them that could make it way over cost. But material wise even with the wastegate, piping, flanges, flex is not over 200$ in material. Once a jig is made im sure they are able to whip them out pretty quick which would reduce time/labor costs

Dont get me wrong a great looking product and i think at the price they have them at is very fair, but saying 400 was just a bit much imo

since you are an expert just make one for youself if you dont want to pay to have one made.

I'm looking at cutout options, and I really like this one. I could use some feedback from people that have run this. I have a turbo setup 3" downpipe to a highflow cat, stock size exhaust. I'm doing a new engine build and replacing a lot of other things to (like my wastegate and manifold). Previously the car was making 350rwhp, with my new set up I'm shooting for 475-550. Currently I like the fact that the car is quiet and sleeper like, and I have can have a conversation w/ a passenger while cruising. But when I'm getting on it, I would like it to be loud which this should accomplish. As i understand it, this replaces the cat....how much louder is it with this pipe, being that the car is now essentially straight piped w/ this. If it is significantly louder than a S2K, this is not what I'm looking for. And if it is louder, does anyone have any suggestions for cutouts that are before the cat, and leave the cat in place. Thanks

It is a very nice piece, the welds are great and though I never ran mine the one that I custom made on my previous build was one of my favorite pieces even though it cost me 3 time more. I have a NIB Evacpipe I need to unload if anyone is interested.
