Vortech uses a mustang chasis dyno .. you are correct with your assumption

I dynoed mine at only 181 at the wheels with my HKS exhaust.

Yes persianafied you hit the nail on the head... they use that dyno... low numbers for 2.2 but you get that when you gave your car under rated with a machine that is designed to make american cars look better than efficient japanese cars that produce 120hp per litre... thats all i gotta say

 

Is there some hidden mechanism that can sense when an import is getting dyno'd and it secretly lowers the numbers?
