Default New greddy kit installed

I'm almost done with the install. I'll finish today. I've searched and gone thru every page and some guys are using 10w-30, some 5w-30 and some 10w-40, 50.

What oil should i get or is it just a preference thing? I've always used mobil 10w-30 but i'm going to switch back to castrol synthetic because mobil seems to burn a little

thanks!
updated with a pic of it.

For oil I personally like Mobile 0w-40w (European Formula) which still has ZDDP in it unlike 95% of the other oils availible. Castrol makes a synthetic 0w-30 also that also has ZDDP. One of the indicators is that it it does not have the Energy Concerving Label. Which is b/c over 100,000miles it can cause cat damage, which is the least of your cats worrys when running FI.

On an AP1 the PCV is a bit weak so you may want to install something like mine to prevent pressure from entering the crankcase. My dipstick would pop up with out the heavier PCV.

I've been using Castrol full synthetic since day one of getting the car. Started using it once I got to 1000 miles on the car and used 10w30 up until 3000 miles on it and going turbo. I now use it in 10w40 with the turbo setup and I havent lost a drop of oil ever. I do change my oil and filter at roughly every 1000 miles also and the car now has around 14k miles. So you know too, it's supposedly better to use an oil like 10w40 with a turbo, 15 would be too high and I dont understand why some go with 15w50. The 10 side is the cold side for the weight for cold starts and the 40 is the hot side for the weight for hotter oil. 40 is supposedly better for turbo cars because of the added oil heat from the turbo. If there was a 10w50, I think that would be the absolute perfect oil for turbo cars.

I am now looking into switching to Amsoil full synthetic 10w40. I think its a superior oil over the traditional marketed oils that are out. I can get it through a friend for about what I pay for the Castrol full synthetic so it may be a win win for me.
