Default New numbers on new manifold

Hey guys, I was running an Ultimate racing kit before and upgraded to a better manifold. My engine is internally stock, and i'm running a full 3 inch exhaust. I initially ordered a track forged ramhorn manifold, and can tell you I was very excited running this. It took a month for them to make it and send it too me. When I received it, the welds were very blotchy and thick. Anyways, I went to CTD where Vince, former full race afi welder developer worked to install my manifold. CTD is his business btw. I was ensured multiply times by forged that I would not have to notch my frame using a turbo up to a 6262. Long story short, the manifold to turbo flange was warped like hell, I could not install the turbo because it hit my frame, the manifold flange holes had to be drilled out to fit my head, and one of the exhaust studs hit the runner which made it impossible to put a a nut on.This is my daily, and I had a tuning appointment set. I lost out money on the labor due to these issues. CTD gave me an offer i could not refuse while my car was apart, so i had them make my manifold. This is my only car and daily, so I needed a running car. Anyways, Forged got their manifold back, and currently giving me a very hard time about getting my refund. I had enough and needed my money back to pay CTD for the mistakes Forged did. Long story short, I disputed it on my credit card. I was hoping it would not have to come to this, but i'm throwing it out there for anyone buying their Ramhorn manifold and having issues with it. I know of another local guy that had the exact same issues with their manifold! Now, back on track. Anyways, the before and after comparisons are not fare due to a few factors. My dyno on the log favored cooling temps and higher boost. Sorry, my scanner just broke so I can't upload the new dyno chart yet. My log setup = 375 whp and 250 ft lb torque on 13.5 psi. 523 whp on 20 psi using e85. The new manifold got me 400 whp and 285 ft ln toque on 91 octane using 11 psi. I made 510 whp on 15 psi using e85! I was at %100 duty cycle at 15 psi, so we had to stop. Anyways, Joe at locash said that my voltage for my fuel pump dropped at higher rpm even with the fuel pressure turned up. I think my new 340 lph requires much more juice, so i'm going to do a relay mode for it this week and get it retuned hopefully. Currently also running a AEM FPR. i can tell you guys the biggest difference from going log to runner type is the power band. Power is so much smoother, I do not fall out of boost between gears anymore, and it pulls like crazy now! My log setup felt very laggy, and this setup beats it by a mile. If anyone goes boost, don't make my mistake and get a log setup. I will try to get some in car videos! Don't mind the intake, Vince is waiting for a 45 degree coupler to finish my intake. He's also going to make misc heat shields for me this week.

Congrats! That's a great improvement over your log, and it sounds like there's more to be had once you sort out the fuel pump voltage.

Thanks, I hit 552 whp last time on e85, and my fuel system was able to handle it. I think the 340 lph has something to do with it this time. I live in AZ, and Joe made sure my tune was very conservative and safe. He told me he could squeeze out a lot more power, but being in 110+ degree summers is harsh.

Any bracing on the manifold? Be sure and periodically check it for cracks.

Same turbo. I think it's a t3/t04. Might be a 57 trim. I'm saving up for a GT35R.

Manifold is extremely strong and thick, plus it's guaranteed forever.

1000 cc injectors, AEM fpr, Aeromtive 340 lph, and just did a fuel pump relay mode.
