Default new PH Injector Driver

Our 4 channel PH Injector Driver will be ready for shipping in the next 2 weeks. Here are a few pics of the prototype unit. These drivers will be, at this time, the least expensive 4 cylinder unit on the market including AEM (10 channel)and FJO (4 channel). The cases are brushed, extruded, aluminum with a small footprint, not thin sheetmetal or plastic. The connectors will be environmental (sealed) not the connectors shown in the prototype pictures. The wiring colors are the same colors used by Honda to facillitate ease of installation. The units will come with mating connectors with 4 feet of wire for those desiring to install in the engine bay as opposed to surface mounting on the ECU. One unit was sent to Asura of Asura Design who found the time, between making exhausts, to install and test with good results. He may/may not chime in to give his opinion. Unit specs to follow. The company name is "Horizon Performance" and we are located in the vendor area under "Engine and Drivetrain". Pricing is listed.

Thanks,

Pat

I tested this Horizon Performance injector driver box back to back with a Honda resistor box on an S2000 with 1200cc injectors. The difference that I saw was in part throttle low load at the lower RPM portion of the fuel curve. I was able to get the AFRs closer to stoichiometric with this injector driver box. The Honda resistor box would not go leaner than the low 11s, and with the cold start enrichment map it was in the mid 10s.

The HP injector driver box was able to get idle AFRs into the high 13s. I'll will continue to test this product, but at this time I am very satisfied with the how it has performed on the test S2000.

I'll let Pat answer your question about the differences...

Why not just run high impedance injectors and be done with it?

Many higher flowing injectors are low impedance.

Ah, 10-4. That would explain that then.
