Default New setup

hey guys i just wanted to give everyone ani update. the boost bug has hit me too and so in less than a year Im changing my setup. i originally had the IP log with 5965 b with low boost being 350 rwhp and high boost being 440 rwhp but now im changing my injectors to 900 cc, upgrading the intercooler to the precision 800, switching my wideband to a more c16 friendly one (I believe its innovative, without the bosch sensor), getting a new downpipe built without a cat on it this time, and changing the turbo to a precision 6265 with a ported S cover. im going to get it tuned at low boost to max out 93 pump, and high boost will be on c16. the numbers im hoping for are 500+ rwhp on low boost, and 600+ rwhp on high boost. Stay tuned to see what happens next!

You're going to keep the IP log manifold?

you will have a hard time reaching those numbers with that mani & no headgasket.

His motor will handle it.

It'll make the power. We've done it before with the first 10sec car, and we'll do it again on his

why not just upgrade the manifold and make more power at less boost, seems like the smart thing to do...

Buy my brand new FR mani and DP for 50-60% of cost from Full Race themselves.

well I didn't want to switch to the sidewinder since I love that the log is pretty much bulletproof..how many times do you hear of log manifolds failing? also I didn't want to switch manifolds since thatll mean I need to switch everything except for engine maagement.

also no need for a headgasket here, I have a built motor.
I was semi debating calling Ya today to switch the whole kit and all but now I really want it to work just to show everyone what those logs can do
