Hey sorry to be kind of OT, but can someone explain to me the purpose of those springs on the header?

it looks like that's how it attached to the flange.

reason for that would be that the flange looks almost like its forged aluminum. which wouldn't weld too well to steel or titanium. so you have to resort to other methods to attach it.

I e mailed them yesterday with:

"I am holding out on a Comptech kit because of the thread I saw in the forced induction section of the S2000 forums. Are you still working on the kit for the S2000 and do you have any idea when it may be released? 6 months, a year or more?"

Today I got a reply very efficient I thought!

Alex,

The S2000 Rotrex supercharger kit is in late design stages, with a release set for Quarter 2 2007. No other information is available at the current time.

Thanks for your time and interest,

Oscar Jackson Jr.
Jackson Racing
I guess that "no other information is available" means don't ask me where we are at, wether we have one in a car etc...

At least it is still on the cards. I definately want to wait and see some dyno runs on this before I decide where to go.

Thanks for checking on the timing of the release date, Alex. If they keep pushing it out, I should have my credit card paid off from all the Christmas shopping so I can actually afford to buy a kit!
