Default Newest Greddy Owner with a few general Q&A's

Well I broke down and bought the kit finally. I missed the power of my Vette's and big V8's. The Greddy kit has a great low end torque so I should be able to light the tires up without it raining.

Anyway, I am ordering a Synapse Synchronic Blow Off Valve and installing a manual boost controller. Anyone had good luck with these?

I want to install a Boost gauge but I would prefer to get a set of LEDs that represents boost which mimics the stock Tach and mount them in the stock gauge bezel. Anyone know a good place to get one?

I have read the posts and I already have an extra 2' of 3/4" hose, exhaust manifold gasket, fuel rail supply line seal and most of the items everyone was needing. However, are there any other parts like heat tape or something else anyone would recommend?

Spark Plugs? I know there are tons of post and opinions but, do I need to replace the brand new NGK Iridium IFR7G-11KS?

I am planning to leave the stock cat and cat back on but if pulling the cat made some power I would look into a high flow replacement. What did you make by pulling it?

Does the S2k have a fuel cutoff rev limiter? If so is there a way to remove it inplace of a spark. I always ran an aftermarket accel or MSD with the spark limiter set 100 rpm below the factory to overcome this.

I am linking about sending mine to a company that specializes in highly conductive paint it so it is less visible. Has anyone painted the Intercooler black?

Anything else I missed?

I believe the Greddy Kit has a fuel cut-off when the Boost reaches 13psi

I just took out the beast to beat up on my buddies girlfriends G-37. There is no better feeling then the tires breaking loose at 40mph in 2nd gear Good luck and have fun/be safe

my greddy:
synpase bov
painted black intercooler
no boost controller
stock plugs (get 1 step colder.. i will soon)
stock cat (if you must, get berk HFC)
70 mm cat back
PLX gauges (look amazing; my AFR matches s2k theme... can make others look like this too.. i got 2 on my A pillar)

since you are an AP1, keep at 9psi, no higher.. >9psi is past this turbo's efficiency range

As far as plugs I'm using NGK 4554 (R5671A-8) in my car right now.

You are going to want to change the exhaust. I have stock exhaust and stock cat and my car stinks after 6K due to lack of flow in the exhaust system. My Greddy 70 TIC hits my doorstep tomorrow per UPS tracking. Cant wait to bolt it on.

NGK are copper and the other are iridium. The NGK's are way cheaper but need to be replaced often. I'm sure the Greddy plugs are fine also.

I had Denso iridiums and hated them. They were good at first but started having a miss. Changed them to cheapo NGK's and haven't had any problems since.
