Nitrous ontop of supercharger
god damn, just typed huge post and connection failed
anyways... bottom line wondering if anyone with a supercharger has done nitrous ontop of it for like 5th and 6th gear. I know the smart thing to do would be to just get more boost for supercharger... but just throwing idea out there...
has anyone done it? if so... any dyno charts and things like that? What are the dangers of doing this?
i have SOS stock kit and stock internals and stuff like that... Ap1
let me know, thanks

Never heard of anyone on this board trying it. With my setup I am never on it hard in anything above third for the most part because third gets you to 92mph and mine is strictly a weekend toy and never goes to a track.
I think being on it hard in 5th or 6th gear, in boost and then hitting nitrous would go beyond the cars ability to put the power to the ground and be a recipe for a high speed disaster. But I don't know how the guys with the 700 hp drag setups keep it in a straight line to begin with.
Is this for a street car or for the track? Because you would be using the nitrous at speeds up over 120 mph and then getting a rush of power. Where one finds a spot safe to do that I dunno.

here's my setup. comptech sc, header and exhaust, NX nitrous.
FULL Disclosure: I bought the car that way. Previous owner said NX was installed purely for show. I guess we'll have to inspect the inspect the line to see if this is true or not.

i thougth about doing this to my setup. maybe another 75-100 shot on top of my 10psi. i think the car could take it, big thing is, i would do it with a progresssive controller so the shot came on slow.
my only knock against nitrous is my luck i will never have it ready when i want to use it.
that being said, my next DD is gonna have a 100-125 shot lol.

well, good feedback everyone, just checking to see what it was like that is all. Not looking to be a dyno king here, it would be on a track or somewhere on the street.
Where I come from we do not have normal streets...
we have open, flat smooth roads for 20 miles at a time. If people are out playing around (not like street racing) but just spirited driving, it is plausable to hit whatever speeds you want. is it the safest in the world... maybe not, but there is def more dangerous things in life. I was raised as a dumb child lol... need for speed and all sorts of other things... between 4-wheelers that go 90mph and snowmobiles that hit 120...130mph.... and then wonderful croch rockets...... the S200 is a good blend for me lol. so i was just checking it out.
I wouldn't use it all the time... maybe a few times a year... so i wouldn't be beating on it all the time... just wondering if the motor can handle it and things like that. And if so... how would you set it up safely.
