I compare nitro as a cheating devise to beat your friends.

Nitro is not going to make your car last longer for sure.

Now its up to you what amount are you injecting..

You can start with 25 bhp...

But the only problem is, that this stuff is addictive, as you
keep on injecting until you kill you engine...

Poor Honda..

Nitro is is not any worse for your can then a turbo or super charger.... but you have to have yoru car tuned right for it...... and most people over use it and over jet it...... i wold do it small if you do it at all. but other then beating poeple in straight line races i see no need for it

Yeah the nitrous would just be for some fun drag races to beat friends on saturday nights. heh. I heard something about s2000 cylinder walls being too thin for nitrous, anyone else heard of this?

Nitro = Nitromethane

Not used on any street car, due to it's volitle nature. It's what make Top fuel dragsters so fast.

Nitrous oxide = "NAWZZ" or "NOS" totally different animal.

Moving to FI

many people are misinformed when it comes to nitrous, it will not hurt your car anymore then a turbo or supercharger would as long as you dn't push its limits. Any car can handle a small 50 shot or even a 75 shot every single day. How do I know??? Because i've tested around 4 cars with thin walls, high compression, all that bs people said you will not be able to run nitrous with, ran around 50-100 bottles (yes many fill ups were done) on each car, took the motors apart after to see nothing but normal ware. Put the motors together and kept driving them. I actually traded in a 2000 basemodel Nissan Sentra that was sprayed a 50 shot for 36,000 miles. Ran mint, dealer would never know. On the s2k i would not use it unless i highway race often, becuz a bottle will run out half way around a track. But to say nitrous is unsafe and will harm your motor, is nothing more than an incorrect rumor.

Thanks for answering and clearing some things up, I got a few more questions.
What would you recommend I start out with? (Engine is completely stock) Any suggestions on where I should buy? Do I need to tune my car to really take advantage of it? How difficult is a standard installation? And approximately what type of gains should I expect with your recommendation?

Search and read more... These questions are very vague and vary soo much.
With a good I/H/E setup, you can probably see 25whp more MAX.
That would be a Comptech Intake, J's Header, and T1r/Js 70mm exhaust w/ test pipe.

Why a comptech intake instead of a AEM cold air intake?
