Default nordskog performance gauges

hey guys i was looking at the nordskog gauges(D7015 Boost Pressure Gauge , 0-15 psi) my question is do i need to buy the sender and output relay or is that only if i want to use those functions?

why would you buy those?? i mean of couse it is your decision but they look just like the Autometer Sport-Comp which are less than 1/2 the price

lower boost reading, autometers are around 30psi for the most part. i was also looking at the digital from nordskog. i want to be able to see my boost clearly it would be hard to see little movemnets of the autometer

The sensors on the nordskog gauges aren't all that great.
Always had problems w/ the sensors specially with the oil pressure and fuel pressure. had them replaced at least twice. Vibration killed the sensors in a matter of 5 months or less.

And that is why i switched to FJO.

No probelms with my boost gauge for the past 2.5 years.

You need the sender or you won't have a signal to display.

You only need the relay if you plan to use a warning device like a light or beeper.

I looked at and almost ordered a couple of their digitals. I just wish that it indicated in tenths. Not that a dial gauge is more accurate, but for some reason it bothered me that if you were seeing 5.0-5.9lbs it would still just sit on "5".

Cyberdyne's read in .1 increments but look a little cheap and for some reason, they don't make an oil pressure gauge that reads > 80psi.

Though they are probably the least sexy lookin of just about any gauge, the SPA duals have a very nice set of features for the money.
