There are a handful of owners here running Nitrous. If they don't post I suggest you do a quick search and you will encounter a number of threads on this topic.

If you want NAWS, it is nothing like the fast and the furious. Sorry for being harsh, but I really hate it when people call nitrous NOS. The folks that typically call it NOS know very little about how it actually works. I would suggest you do lots of research. Nitrous can be safely run on any vehicle as long as it is installed and used correctly. The only problem is that nitrous is really easy to screw up. The wrong jets, wrong window switch settings, Messed up WOT switch, sudden changes in fuel pressure, solenoids sticking open or closed.....all of these things can lead to a disaster. The majority of the work of a good nitrous system is setting up all of the safety's that keep your engine from getting damaged.

Search your local bookstore or library for some good books on nitrous oxide. That is where I started doing my research before I went the nitrous route with my other cars.

I also hope you are not doing this to save money, because a good nitrous system can get just as expensive as other forms of FI. Sure you can get a basic kit for $300, but after just a few extra safety's you can be up to or over $1000

Nitrous is safe for any motor, just dont exceed the limit of the rods. I've sprayed 100 bottles thru my integra type r engine with no issues at all. U need the right spark plugs fuel pump and timing, and u will be good to go. Its not good to spray in high gears for a long time. Thats what causes engine failure.

It is cheap quick power, but always having to fill the bottle up gets annoying. If you know for a fact your going to boost you will be better of saving that 1k. After 3 bottles you dont even feel it anymore, and your still going to get beat by all boosted cars anyway.

Youll get beat by very few of the boosted cars. All the ones with 400+ whp will give you trouble. the avg boosted s2k under 10 lbs will get its ass handed to it by a 100 shot s2k.
blower under 10 psi, takes it a min to be in its power band, and lacks torque. Turbo s2k under 10 psi, takes a min depending on turbo and also lacks torque.
A well driven s2k on one stage will mangle those cars. You start talking about someone serious with several stages and standalone, and its gonna get REAL ugly for the majority of boosted cars.
Problem is 95% of guys period in all car makes are afraid of nitrous, those who arent stomp the life out of everyone else. I havent seen an s2k yet with REAL nitrous on it.
Trust me when i say if i had the money id have my dream s2k done. Thats my specialty is nitrous. I had multiple stages planned for my ap2, but this wonderful economy cut that dream short.
Every car ive ever owned/raced has had the jug on it, and i lost to no one. nor cal street race undefeated 5 years in a row, 1960 black karmann ghia. thats me. car known as mightymouse.
S2's with 100ish shots have run 11s, there are several on this board. imagine well tuned and staged 200 shot? on top of well setup light car with tire. 9s is in that picture.
I have comfortably ran 100% gain on many cars. So picture built NA 300 hp, and then 250 or 300 shot? Game over for alot of people.
Dont mean to get so fired up, but i am very passionate about the jug, and always have been. It is a force to be reckoned with.
If someone else doesnt beat me to it, i will have another s2, and it will end up with my full setup on it. Till, then i just watch.
