well my freind mounted his boost guage off the blow off valve and could not figure out why it was not working.(duhh) ha ha and i was under the impression that you installed it yourself. Im sure the person that installed it broke it in before he gave it back.so no worries.

This is happening to me also. I get no reading on boost. Was this problem resolved? Also, how fast am I suppose to go to get boost? I heard from someone got boost on idle which I can't believe. So how fast?

Yes it was, it seems the problem above was that he was not WOT redlining the car.

The boost will not come on until 5000 rpm an on. There is no one boosting at idle.

A SC'd car isn't going to make boost at idle. Some turbos can make boost slightly off idle.

You should really check your BOV. It should be venting when the car is not under load...
