Default OBX Manifold

Hey Guys,

Ok, i know the turbo manifold is an OBX, and is on EBay. It also seems to be a copy of the older Full-race manifold, where the wastegate comes out on the side by the battery. Has anyone had any experience or first hand knowledge with this manifold?

With the mini crowd, people have had great success with the OBX version of a header. Moral issues aside, has anyone had any personal experience with this?

looks like a full-race copy. edit: just noticed you already said that

it's probably made of thin wall SS and will most likely crack though..

The Nissan guys run the ss autochrome versions all the time. They have a lifetime warranty and people just swap them out if something goes wrong. They are getting pretty good though last time I checked and didn't have to warranty as many of them.

My buddy built a turbo kit for his Tiburon using one a fews years back. It worked flawlessly, plus we got good practice TIG welding on the wastegate.

Back in the day i tried one of there headers on an integra and it didnt fit worth a shit! Once i modified the crap out of it to make it fit it worked ok but it was so thin that it sounded very tinny! Perhaps the product is better now? Or maybe not!

this is the older full-race design. Where the wastegate comes out by where the battery is. Why did fullrace change their design? Was it just because of placement, or was it due to vibrations etc...
