Offical COMPTECH Supplied SC Pulley Sizes
Would upgraded injectors and engine management be necessary to run the 4.0" pulley on a Aftercooled AP2 ('04)?
or would it be safe to run the 4.0" in a otherways stock setup given that the aftercooler accounts for a drop of PSI?

I assume you know that you will need to increase the fuel pressure on your Comptech FPR to add fuel accordingly. You can easily do this on the street if you have a wideband. One thing I will mention to you about when you do this, is in order to get your upper rpms at WOT to be safe you will end up running a bit ritch on the bottom end at partial and WOT. I believe itts the way the FPR is calibrated from Comptech, you can get around this if you have an old vafc from your N/A set up to lean out the bottm end, this works pretty good, I am one of many who have ran this set up reliably. You will also be able to drop your vtec to gain more midrange power which is always nice. 5k -5.5k is a great place. mine is at 5kGo for it! You will love it
As was posted in reply to your similar question in another thread, Science of Speed is your best source for Novi 1220/1200 pulleys: https://www.scienceofspeed.com/index...1200-1220.html
You'd need new injectors, MAP sensor, and some form of engine management. You may also need some more fuel management stuff (pump, pressure regulator) as well as some other optional upgrades (bigger heat exchanger, better afercooler water pump, better radiator, etc.).
