Default Oil Cooler

I did a search, but wasnt able to find much. I have an inline pro oil filter relocation kit. It has the two extra an ports on it for a oil cooler. How does the flow internally on these adapters work? Basically i want to set up an oil cooler, and use a thermostat, so oil is not being cooled during the winter, or when its cold, so the oil can still get up to temp. Is there a specific way the thermostate needs to be hooked up to it (as far as lines needing to be connected to a certain port on the adapter)? i would be using something like this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/der-25719/overview/ it seems simple enough, i just want to know if you can get lines backwards, like you can on the other lines.

if you have the stock oil cooler still on the car there isn't much need I see oil temps average 200f on a 45f day and 230f beating on it and at 75f cruising temp 204-210 depending on speed I am supercharged so would guess an oil cooled turbo would put more heat into the oil

Ask inline pro they will tell you if you call them. Tom at the shop is very helpful whenever I call there. I have a mishimoto 19 row oil cooler and I should be able to check temps this summer win I finally get the gauges installed.
