Default oil pan removal...

I have all the oil pan bolts off and i can now move it a little as I have broken the seal on the passenger side. My question lies with the AC compressor bracket on the drivers side. There are 3 bolts that hold this braket to the oil pan. Do I have to remove that bracket? I already removed 2 bolts that screw through the compressor into said bracket. 2 of the bolts that hold this bracket to the pan are EXTREMELY hard to get to. I bascially dont wanna try to force the pan off if I have to remove these 2 bolts to get it off. Someone chime in please!!!

Hi....

I know this is a bit of an old thread but I'm in the same position, I've removed the strut brace and the two longer bolts that go through the AC and the bracket that is bolted to the oil pan. So do I have to remove the 3 bolts that hold the mount to the oil pan? If how do you removed them?

Thanks

Mike

It's been a while but I believe you only have to remove the bolts where the head faces out. Not the bolts where the head faces towards the oil pan. Look at it closely and you'll realize you don't have to remove the entire mount.
