Default Oil pressure sensor sending unit install question

I purchased the aem pressure sensor from Rashed for my AEM EMS UEGO. My question is I'm looking at different areas to connect it to. I've seen where people have a sandwich adaptor and use that but I have one already and I have one lead that goes to the oil inlet for the turbo. I was thinking of teeing that and using one side for the oil pressure sending unit and the other for the turbo. Its to hard to get to the stock oil sensor with the manifold so I'm thinking of different ways.

I don't really want to unless I really have to. Its really close to the turbo manifold.

If you are using the AEM EMS, just put it where the stock pressure sensor goes, because the its not being used anymore.

I thought I read that somewhere but I wasn't sure. How come its not being used anymore. What cuts out the stock oil pressure sensor from the stock ecu and how come?

well thats just for the idiot light so if you have an AEM EMS I would hope that you would be checking the oil more often than mommy in her mini van going to pick up the kids from soccer practice. The idiot light for the oil press is just that. FOR IDIOTS lol.

If you use the stock oil pressure location make sure you get an npt(female) to bsp(male) adapter. Most aftermarket sending units are npt.

I just looked at the oil pressure sending unit and the 1/8 threading is flat its not tapered. Since its not tapered can I just thread it in? It looks like the V tec solenoid sensor.

I'll post a pic later on.
