Default Oil for supercharger setup

Hey guys i just wanna know how many quarts of oil is everyone running and what kind is best for a Sos stage 2 boosting maybe 9-10lb?

5-6 I like brad pen.

5-30 some times 10-30 depending on the time of the year, works great for me on track with that setup for 4 track season. 13lbs boost

Yeah cause I was told our car takes 5.5 quarts of oil, but that's when I was NA.....

If you're still using the stock oil filter location your oil capacity should only go up by like .25 -> .5 a quart I think. I forgot how much oil I had to put in last time...

I use Amsoil Signature series, 10w30.

I just changed my oil last weekend and I used 5.5 quarts of Amsoil Signature 10w30. I am SOS2 boosting 7-8psi.

I felt most comfortable using 5/40w. With the increase in oil temps I liked having a step up in the hot viscosity. Oil pressure should be slightly improved as well which will fall with the addition of a supercharger plumbed into the system. If you actually get all the oil out of the pan during your drain you will typically get 5.5q in without the blower. I regularly added 6q with the blower. It takes .5q.

I usually add at least 5.7 quarts of amsoil 10w-30. I've been running 18psi for over three years and 10psi for three years before that. My engine is still in good health having 1% leak down and 239-240 compression across the board.
