One Stop Shop for all your AEM Info
Aemlog still opens those files too. I had not installed the aemdata on my new laptop an was still able to open daq files in aemlog
Damn, I havent seen any of my posts on the AEM forum in a while. Apparently I'm a moderator there. Haha
Also, remember that in the AEMpro or AEMtuner directory, there is a folder called instructions, that has all the instructions for everything listed out by the part number. Pinouts, etc. Very handy stuff.
If any of you guys tune your own cars and dont use the boost comp method with throttle mod.. you really should try it, makes things very quick to dial in and provides really good resolution at idle and low throttle angles while still maintaining good resolution at WOT.

Another member has said the same thing. Would you mine providing a "How-to" on the subject?

the thread you linked pretty much covers the concept of "boost comp" but doesnt really dive into how to use throttle mod with it. My post (3rd post in the thread) briefly explains it. One thing that we didnt say in that thread was that you can use the idle % vs fuel table to tune fuel at idle and gain even more precise control of the idle fuel.
Say you set the throttle mod while driving, but its way rich at idle. Then use the fuel offset vs idle error (v1) or Fuel vs Idle RPM (v2) table to pull fuel while idle conditions are being met.
The important things for boost comp to me are
1. fuel map is always flat and only adjust the fuel map to change fuel at WOT,
2. set the boost comp table for the map sensor and dont ever change it
