I used to get that code after i got tuned for the first time, but after a while I stopped getting it.

I only got it like once every month or so so i just cleared the code, didnt really concern me as much.

BTW

I'm waiting for my studs so I can mount the injectors. the 650's from inline are still a bit taller than RC's

What are you tuning with? If it's a piggyback system, it's from the tune.

The P0172 is set from the PCM having to remove more fuel to meet the fuel trim target.

On a stock car, many things can cause it. The e-manage throws a big fly in the ointment, as it is modifying PCM inputs to meet your new fueling requirements. I'd bet your Air correction map is reducing the MAP sensor signal past an acceptable limit.

In my case
there were no values in the air correction table. Everything was 0

Alex,

it should be two anti-foulers that needs to be used. Well, some folks with no cat have thrown this signal too, which is a possibility also. As for the air map I took out fuel due to the injector size on lower rpms....If you got the faulty harness fixed then we need to retune. After the first tune there were no check engine light? I beleive the wiring problems did cause a lot of discrepancy here so if it is resolved then lets get it finalized.

Also, I will set up the profec boost controller for you. I noticed you posted regarding the contols. Make certain the lowest rating spring is in the car and the contoller will increase the boost based upon percentages. At the same time it does have an accurate boost guage too.
