Default p1259 still

I have the emanage blue as most know. I was racing a 350z, kinda, today and at 7723 rpms in 5 th gear at 122mph the DTC came on and shut me down.

The MAP sensor is new oil is changed screen is clean oil pan is fine vtec solenoid is wired fine.

My emanage is an older model but the software that has been input into it is new.
When I pulled the freeze data it said the MAP sensor was reading 82kpa?? My question is should the emanage be clamping it lower then that?? I have the map clamp set at 2.6 accross the board. SLOWS2k I value your opinion and your feedback here.
If its not an emanage issue I may need to purchase a new vtec solenoid <>240 dollars.

Are you doing anything with the VTEC crossover point with the e-manage?

yes

its 5650 5700 5800 5850
0 off off off off
20 off off off on
50 off off on on
100 off on on on

I only have this trouble in the higher gears 4,5,6 and above 7000 rpms.

Should I just move the switchover point higher? and then do some street tuning to adjust

I'd 0 all the VTEC values. Don't mess with modifying the crossover at all. If you still have the DTC then you've got a wiring issue with the e-manage.

Stop worrying with the MAP clamp. It's not going to cause P1259

You stay in VTEC much longer in 4-5-6 than 1-2-3. do you have an oil pressure gauge installed?

I do not have an oil pressure gauge as of yet. My car, since the Krank vent install hasn't lost a drip of oil in 10 changes since the turbo went in.
Not that the pressure doesn't drop.

When you say 0 them out you are referring to the rpm values accross the top. Enter 0's there and see what happens?? Will that engage the vtec cam upon stating the car??

Does the 82kpa map sensor reading from the freeze data mean anything at all??

Just means the MAP was at 82Kpa. at the time the DTC set.

MAP volts won't cause the DTC though.

It's been awhile since I opened the support tool software, but 0's should default to the PCM switching VTEC, not the e-manage.

Now if the engine's oil pressure is dropping under approx. 50psi at WOT in 5th you're gonna get the code. Why the oil pressure would be low is another issue.

Thats what I am worried about. What could be causing a drop in oil pressure??
I guess I will just have to install an oil pressure gauge and find out. I have read that it is fairly difficult to do, due to the fittings being difficult to find. I will do some searching on that. Do you know right off hand if an npt fitting will go in where the dummy light sensor is located??

The stock oil pressure switch is 1/8 BSP

Where are you tapping your oil feed for the turbo from?

If you have a remote mount oil filter adding a pressure gauge is easy.
