Hey bro, just an fyi....just cause you havent lost any oil doesnt mean your oil pressure cant be low. Happened to me with a bad oil pump. Oil level was fine, but i was only hitting 35-45psi.

But would the oil pressure drop off at that level, yet be enough to engae it?? I certainly hope its not the oil pump, as that is no easy replacement item. I plan to switch to AEM before spring and get rid of the piggy back bs.

If your not getting enough oil pressure vtec will not engage. The turbo was very deceiving. I had no idea my vtec wasnt engaging till i had my car on a dyno and saw the low hp #'s.

My dyno times have been fine. It only happens in the higher gears when I am in vtec for awhile. That would tell me the oil pump is working at least until a point. I know it needs 50ish pounds to flip the switch on and then off but why would it fall once it is at that rpm level?
