Default Parts required to occasionally track a turbo s2000

Hey guys, for my turbo s2000 guys that track their cars...I was curious what extra parts do you guys have on your cars to make sure nothing overheats(oil/coolant) etc etc.

Right now the car is just a weekend warrior. I have road raced the car once but after every lap I would pull into the pit and let the car sit...and do it again. Very tedious and annoying. I just didn't want to break or blow anything.

I have the inline pro stage II street kit, Borgwarner s366 .91ar. I put down 491whp (93 octane) on a mustang dyno

Motor is completely stock I have been on the setup for 22k and my fist hiccup is a leaky head gasket so the car is down at the moment.

Since the head is coming off, I plan on building the head(supertech) and getting another map for race gas and shooting for 650-700whp.

The parts I am getting before I track the car next season:

-Mishimoto oil cooler with the thermostat

-Knightfab oil catch can/overflow tank

-oil temp gauge

I just want to make sure I am not missing any necessary parts.

Thanks in advance!

I couldn't find my friends flickr account to upload photos of my engine bay. Here are 2 old videos.

My pipes are currently wrapped with reflective tape and I have a velocity stack.

The problem I had with the Greddy kit was water temps. With an intercooler blocking they go up pretty quick, well 10-15 mins in I heard the 100 celciys warning sound and had to dial back

I personally would not track a boosted S2000 without a V-mount and some hood venting. As you get faster, temps will sky rocket in short order.

If you dont want to do a vmmount the next best thing is Mr. Sidewayz dual pass radiators. I know Jr. Is running that setup next season, and he hangs out with the Chicago guys. Not sure how effective that will be but its a step up from a stock radiator.

Thanks for the input gents! I do have the OEM vented hood on the side of the turbo manifold! You can see the heat rise when the car is at a stand still
