Default Passing Inspection on a turbo s2k

So for the few of us who have the desire to turn our s2ks into road going ego smashers, but live in a state that requires a scanner to hook up to the obd2 port, is there a way to modify your turbo kit for a day so that it would run on the stock injectors and stock ECU?

What I'm thinking is if you could just set it up so your wastegate is all the way open as much as possible it would almost essentially act like a really overly complicated exhaust system and hopefully not build any boost. Would careful driving and something like this work?

I wanted to go turbo, but being on an AEMv1 and not wanting to rip off the whole kit once a year, this may not be an option for me (unless I shell out a ton of extra $$ for KPro)

Anyways, any ideas?
And no, introducing the inspector to my friend Mr. Franklin won't work since its all computer based and the info has to be sent to Austin (I live in Tx)

If your actually end worried about this don't mod your car.

Just do an illegal smog like the rest of the good people on this forum.

Swap injectors and Ecu back to stock when the time comes.

x2 I would just put the stock injectors, map sensor, and ECU in and you`ll be fine through emissions. I drove mine for a few miles like that and no check engine light came on. just dont boost it

My friend and I have been tossing around different ideas/options about this since we both live in NY. I'm going sc...he's going tc. I plan on just pulling the belt off the sc and swapping injectors, ecu etc back to stock to pass, because I refuse to spend $2200 on Kpro/sensors. My friend will most likely just end up doing the same as Prokaw875.

Also, if you're cool with your shop, and have a willing friend.

Bring in Stock S2000, Scan modded S2000 DMV information, Plug in stock car. Obtain sticker, Stick on modded car = WIN?!?!

I've been doing illegal smog for the last 3 years, no issue there

Problem is passing the computer test

Ya this would work, but for my particular situation, there aren't any other people in the area that I know with an s2k. Best hope is that someone happens to take a pre-06 s2k into the nissan dealership that I get my stuff done at (where I go hook ups)

So just staying out of boost would be enough to not blow up the car on stock injectors/ecu?

Then (depending where you live) You have to get around the visual inspection. Most run open wastegates and test pipes.
