I was wondering if you had ever tried putting your turbo on with the factory fan shroud because I am having problems with my compressor housing on the 40r hitting. It is hitting to the point that I can not bolt my turbo up. Running the full race kit as well.

my fans are reversed and are on the inside in between the rad and intercooler, no i have never tried fitting my turbo and manifold with the factory shroud, with out fans there my turbo is still close to the rad

Just a little update to my build, new v160 trans was shipped out yesterday (on a pallet) should be receiving it late next week, I just got my shifter parts from toyota and put the shifter together, also got the trans mount, and driveshaft, bolted up the adapter plate to the motor, heres some pics of the progress




Oh and heres the new daily, 335i x drive coupe

next up clutch masters twin disc install, I also have a speedo healer on the way too to get the speedo working correctly, then the whole thing comes together with the v160, can't wait feels like I havnt driven my car in forever
