Default Pcv

Way do you guys start doing PCV wise once you start seeing some higher boost numbers. I've seen a few options around but what do you guys reccomend ?

I'm on oem PCV for an 02 as of now at 14 lbs. but I will be seeing 20+ soon here.

Get rid of the pcv and vent the port on the valve cover to atmosphere. Cap the port on the manifold.

I too vent both ports on the valve cover to my catch can. Remove the PCV valve entirely.

If you don't, I'd recommend adding the Supra PCV to ensure that you're not positively boosting your crankcase.

I understand the point of venting the crankcase, but what if you just leave everything like factory. What will happen?

I can imagine without efficient pcv, the life of the motor would be very short relatively speaking. Weld two 10an bungs onto the valve cover, above the plate. If you leave the pcv the way it is your motor could be inhaling nasty oil vapor and the pcv would not be adequate for boost. There is so much pressure inside that valve cover in boost its crazy. That pressure is no bueno because it would be pushing down on the rings.. i think
