Default peak boost questions....

So I've been looking around for quite a few weeks now trying very earnestly and quite in vain to get some information on the peak boost turbo kits for our cars amd the ONLY thing I seem ot be able to find is ONE manifold with downpipe and inter-cooler piping on ebay..... is the company de-funct? I had their number from an archived thread on here but it's gone as well.... ANY and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Ken (Peakboost) stole money from A LOT of people; last I heard he was still in hiding. I would go with a company that has a solid reputation (FBM, Full Race, TF, Kings, InlinePRO, etc)

I ran peakboost manifold for a long time nd never had a problem with him or the product. But that was about two years before all the crap started happening.

Don't buy it!

I know lots of people have lots of negative thing to say towards Ken and PeakBoost, but rest assured you guys only know the interwebz version of what really happened, yes PeakBoost went out of business, and yes lots of people got caught in the crossfire, but i know for a fact Ken didnt want to have things go down the way they did. i am the only one to ever use a PeakBoost S2000 turbo kit, every picture out there is of my car, with the prototype kit. I LOVED the manifold/kit, it fit excellent and worked amazing! I made 460whp on 13psi on a bone stock unopened AP1 on 91oct and it ran like a fu*king machine. The ebay auction is for one of the few kits that made it into production, and the pictures are of my car....

If i was in your shoes, if you can win the auction for a good price, buy it and be happy, you will make great power, and love every minute of it. Dont let everyone come in here and tell you to buy F-R, FullBlown or otherwise, this kit works just fine and will cost you a fraction of the price. The PeakBoost drama was two f@#king years ago, lets move on.....

Says the guy repping cheapturbo.com in his sig......peakboost's original website, who would want to be related to them. Is this your business? Company is still based out of Phoenix AZ.
Even 2 years later Ken still has people swinging from his nuts. Ken is/was a dirt bag. He stole from everyone, customers, employees, and his vendors. Honda-tech hid all his dirty business which allowed things to get worse. With that said the company made an OK product, although I know from a couple former employees said they don't back-purge all their manifolds. If you can get the kit for a good price it could get the job done.

i am in no way affiliated with cheap turbo and do a lot of business with them. James at cheapturbo is a great guy to deal with. dont think they have anything to do with peakboost.

Wow.....did NOT mean to stir up this wasps nest jeeze...... could have cared less what happened or who did what.... I ask about the kit because the manifold locates the turbo exactly where I want it. I' ve seen a few other top mount kits I.e. kings, and pfabs kits.... I was just looking at other options......looks like I covered this option and uncovered som completely unrelated BS which is typical of internet forums....... thanks for the info, related and unrelated.
