People they have head work done, who did your port work? What were the gains you saw with the port job? Im looking into one of the laskey head's and im wondering how much the head really helps.

i have a head already port flowed with mase at the moment for sale as did not use it

it is a bare head, done via laskey

 

Which stage from laskey, 1?

 

no it had the full stage 3

however now its just a bare head, ie no valves retainers etc

 

gotchya so it's just the port job, how much are you looking to get for it? reason you didnt use it?

 

god i dont know how much stuff like that goes for in the US.

was in two minds and had two heads, and went with a built stock head with all the bits in the end

ps also spoke to mike laskey the other day, he said if someone wanted to get one built he would use the head as it came from him, so would save some money i suppose and defo time, but you could always buy the valves etc and do it yourself

 

I could buy the full valve train from him.

I have a Laskey built head. Nothing to tell you other than it's worked great fro 15k miles or so. I installed the enture longblock at once and turned up the boost, so I can't tell you any gains.
