Why Precision?

They seem to fail the most, no way I would ever touch one. I say Garret, or Borg Warner..........

Usually a reason why they fail. A lot has to do with installation. We use Precision day in/out at 14lbs - 50lbs with little to no issues.

My honest reason for not wanting a gt is I like the air cooled design over the hassle of water cooling.. I know it's not a huge deal to run water lines but I like the no water line more power with less boost making precisions.. And yes I know they have had their issues but I've seen a lot less issues a of late and every time there is an issue it seems to be properly dealt with

for your power goals and if cost was not issue you should run a garrett gtx 3071R or gtx 3076R. Turbine housing should be and open scroll .82ar with a t3 inlet and 3 inch vband outlet.

i do not recoment precision turbos over garrett.

I was thinking about the ELT but I dont want enough power to warrant it.. the log can handle up to 500ish and thats where I would push to.. so no need to spend the money on the ELT.. when i decide to crack open the motor and go big i will be upgrading to a 6265 and a divided ELT
