please delete, issue solved and unrelated
when you split the regulator there is a piston and aluminum diaphragm the piston protrudes from the top section and the small diaphragm needs to be flat as that is what controls the return fuel good luck i ran emu and rc650cc injectors 2 years now running aemv1 id1000's had lots of problems with that setup i had two other problems bad pump and i had to do the relay install and that helped
good luck
I forgot to mention the fact that I have already hard wired the pump, thank you for that. Also, I saw thatim that piston is hard to press by hand! I may pull it out again and see which way it's bent and straighten it in a vice and try that
Sounds like you have the opposite issue from when my RRFPR failed. I started running super rich, bogging down, stalling as a result. I had to limp it home and just bought another RRFPR to replace mine with. I did the same thing to test whether it was the RRFPR... I took off the SC belt, put the stock FPR back on, and went for a short drive. The car drove beautifully, so I knew it was the RRFPR. When I replaced it with the new one it worked great, and actually provided a better more consistent AFR curve than I was ever able to get with the old one. I think a seal or something just wore out inside my assembly, but I've never taken it apart and looked at it like you have, so I'm not 100% sure what went wrong on mine.
I know that's not much help to you, but definitely take the SC belt off and swap the stock FPR on and see if it runs OK. I am removing my RRFPR this week because I am going standalone. If you find out it is the RRFPR and want to buy this one just let me know. It will be up for sale soon.

Yea, I thought of that but it was unrelated. Basically when i put the pump in, I noticed that small section of hose was a little swollen so I went to my parts dept and asked for a small section of fuel line. I then went to napa to get fuel line clamps and replace that stock garbage spring clamp setup. Yada yada, the car starts acting up (when I made the thread after I'd checked almost everything including pressure which I was still getting 38-44 psi so thats when I assumed the regulator was acting up. I got a vortech regulator from a buddy to throw on and try. So, again, I go into my parts dept and ask for some fuel line, this time they tell me to go in the back and get what i need. I looked and looked and only saw fuel vapor line, not fuel injection hose. I then asked and was told that was all they had. It then hit me. That is what they had given me for the pump..... I pulled the pump yesterday and bam, what do you know, hose had the whole side blown out. Fixed with FUEL LINE lol and all is well. Still lean up top but thats how it was before. I'm waiting on a harness for emanage and hopefully i can get a little more out of it and fix the lean issue too.Thank you for the help guys
