Default The point of no return?

How many miles do you think is too many for a supercharger? The relase of the SOS kit has gotten me all excited. My car is a MY03 has 50,000 miles on it. I have no record of its care before 13,000 because thats when I bought it. Ever since its had Mobil 1 every 4,000 miles or so, Diff with Mobil 1 every 15,000 miles and Tranny with factory Honda oil every 30,000 miles. The car is right now tottaly stock. Thanks for your input.

it should be fine; do a compression test to make sure that's at least fine, and go for it!!

Ha well my car has about 80k on it and the Greddy kit is going on soon. Let's not hope 50k is the point of no return!

compression and leak down test would say far more than the amount of miles on the odometer. if its a pre-02, change out the banjo bolts.

I was reading up on the banjo bolts, do you think it's a necessity? Some people are saying you don't need them as long as you aren't going 100 MPH+ for long duration. *EDIT* I did some more searching, and I saw that you blew your engine within 1 hour of being FI. Yikes. Looks like another few hours that will go into the turbo install.

I believe this was 2000 and 2001 only with the 2 hole squirters

I did a compressoin test and adjusted the valves at 40K, and I have no idea about how the engine was kept before I got boosted. Everything is still running great.

pre-02 means 00-01

However, there was actually some motors in 02 that didn't have the oil bolt squirters. Its probably a good idea to check before hand lest you need to replace your short block.
