Default Possible s/c boost leak?

I just got back from the dyno to check if the Megan header does anything, but ran into some issues.

About a month ago I was at 290s running a bit rich. Yesterday, first run 250, second 270, 3rd 280, 4th 250. Heard occasional high pitched whistling from the engine bay in boost also. Belts seem fine, noticed a good amount of sludge or oil on the trumpet of the BOV.

Weather was rainy, but I dont think that humidity is affecting me that badly to throw the numbers off that much. G/fs S dynoed at 203 n/a.

My thoughts where either the BOV isnt holding or even possibly the Iridiums blowing out. On the low hp runs the cars very rich up top, enough to throw a pretty large flame out the back.

Im going to try swaping the plugs to NGK V's and cleaning out the after cooler. Ill check all my connections and lines, but anything else I should look for?

Do you have a boost gauge?

Your belt might be slipping.

I have your BOV on mine as well. Maybe your vacuum lines are not connected correctly.

Switch to NGK 7173 gapped at about .032. Everyone here is using them and has success with them.

Check all those vacuum lines, "T"s, and looms. There are a lot of places you be might leaking. Check the connections on that vacuum chamber in front of the crank pulley too.

Weird the spread in dyno numbers. I was going to say if they were consistently dropping it could be heat soak, but yours are going up except for the last run. Maybe the stock ecu is compensating for the new header. I'm going to assume you were on a dynojet so maybe your wheels were slipping on the last run?

I have a boost gauge and running an emanage. Boost leak may be coming form the BOV, I took pics and ill post them later. The BOV valve may not be sealing all the way. The wear pattern looks wierd. I can replicate the high pitched sound from the dyno while driving at very light throttle. Sounds like a dog whistle. All the vacuum lines seemed fine, a couple seemed a little worn so Im just replacing them all.

Changed plugs to NGKs, but car feels the saem ill post pics of my Iridiums soon to. They are about a year and a half old.

Put your stock comptech bov back in. If you still have a boost leak, then its not the bov.

Heres a pic of my bov. From this view, the top and the bottom of the valve seems to be unevenly worn. Has anyone else expierenced this?

Here are my iridium plugs. How do they look? This is after about a year and a half.
