Don't rebuild just boost. Build a spare motor

absolutely! you will prob have around 5k into the turbo setup, and the rest to build the motor which is probably around 3k or so depending on what you do.

Thats definitely doable man. Just overlook the mileage its been done many many times before. If there was one thing I could change I definitely would have just built a spare motor instead of taking the one out of a running car so take that for what its worth. 550 wheel can easily happen with the right kit and the right person that knows how to use a computer

If you can, you should take as much of your old kit off the old car, clean it up and reuse what you can. That will save you tons of money. I'm sure the insurance company isnt reimbursing you much if anything for the turbo kit so they shouldnt have a problem with you pulling some of the items off to keep. Just a thought.

I agree. Take much as you can and reuse it or sell it.

But did you find out how it caught fire?
Good luck
