How about adding a test pipe? It's not emissions legal, but then again putting it on and taking it off is a simple affair. Plus although it does change the exhaust note sligthly (makes it raspier) it's far quieter than if you were to get an aftermarket cat-back.
1. Smells like crap
2. pollutes
3. Raspiness isnt something I should be striving for

Looks like you already have made your decision . So I am not sure why you posted asking opinions .

Both Kane and myself own shops and Slow knows his sht and you talk down to us like we are kids

Go waste your money then when you nuke the cat , melt a piston because you EGT's are through the roof and blow the stock mufflers out because there is no flow, go cry somewhere else . Their is more to it than just buying a bunch of parts and bolting them on

You sound like the kid that stop by my shop yesterday and ask how much to build his D16 to the max . I asked him why dont he just do a swap . He said he whats to say he beat a b series with his d series . Then I asked him what his goal was and he said to beat a Z06 Then he looks across the shop and sees a Team Emotion car and says ya , I want to be part of Emotion . I ordered my steering wheel from e-bay yesterday

And to tell you how smart cops are I had 4 of them looking through my car for a NOS bottle because they saw the blowoff valve and associated it with NOS because it had a blue horn .

Have fun

Thats what I was thinking the whole time I was reading this thread He's so hell bent on this stuff that he doesn't want advice from anyone on a few different points...yet he posts a thread asking for approval? Was this thread meant to show off the setup he's planning on getting? Seems like it since people didn't praise his setup, he started getting bitchy about it... Oh well.. to each their own

and that is some FUNNY stuff with the kid in your shop
^^ No kidding.

Why don't you just get a Mugen exhaust? It's nearly as quiet as stock -- Uh oh I forgot you came here and asked questions and then got cocky with the people trying to help you. Never mind.

I appreciate the concern but I already said numerous times that I want to use the OEM exhaust. These are the 4 main reasons:

1. Any exhaust at all where I live will attract negative attention. Even one such as Fujitsubo will flow better but the gains will be miniscule. I would need a setup such as the new one Sideways will have but it be VERY loud.

2. Ive had exhausts before and I am tired of the extra noise.

3. I would be more proud knowing I made a lot of hp with a factory exhaust

4. Having a aftermarket exhaust is comparable to penis envy. You wish you had something bigger (in this case an engine) so you try to compensate.

Im done with this topic so i ask that anybody who responds does not speak about the factory exhaust again.
you come here and ask a question then act like a dick when others give you advice. you're "done with this topic"? go to the srt-4 forum, they seem more on your level.

Once you guys figure this out, I'd like 500 rwhp with a stock s2000 please. I don't like modifications, I just want more power. Thanks!

- This thread is awesome!

To the poster - in order to reach your goal of 450whp supercharged :
Step 1 : Stand on hard surface.
Step 2 : Place hands around ones buttocks.
Step 3 : Remove head from ass.
Step 4 : Ask FI owners for assistance.
Step 5 : LISTEN TO ANSWERS

Everything is obtainable... you can reach 450whp with your stock exhaust. Shoot, I've seen people obtain 500whp on a motor with stock compression and sleeves. The thing is, it's not going to be safe.

Before you try to come in here and be the almighty, be rude to everyone, and question everyone's answers... you might want to step back and look at some of your comments.
1) Hondata does not make a headgasket, they make an intake manifold gasket - completely different item. One seperates the intake manifold from the head. The other seperates the head from the block.
2) Skunk2 does not make a header for the S2000, only a catback exhaust system.

While you are sitting back looking at things, scroll to the top and read your own signature "Now with less attitude and more grattitude." You could have fooled me...

If you seriously want 450whp Supercharged, I'd recommend the following:

Vortech Blower with Aftercooler
3.8" ASP Pulley + Belts
AEM EMS 1052U
RC Engineering 750cc Injectors
Laskey Racing Built Head
BDL Throttle Body
Send Laskey your Intake Manifold and have him port match it
AEM 3.5 Bar Map Sensor
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator

Finally, some sort of exhaust / header combo - personally I had purchased the J's SPL Header & 70RR Exhaust, yet that is an extremely loud combo. You may wish to look at something like the Comptech setup. The Comptech exhaust does look very similar to stock and does not increase the loudness too much.
