Do you have a dyno you could post?

Log manifolds tend to be lacking in the midrange department compared to other more free flowing manifolds, but they shine with their fast spool times. I bet you have really good low end torque with that turbo and log manifold. I think low 300s is about right for 6-7 psi.

Before I decided on a supercharger, I was looking at using that same turbo on a log mani at 12-14 psi and make 400whp

I made 375 whp @9psi with ultimate racing log, with a 65mm turbo....

Log manifilds tend to hold these motors back big time. I am personally running an inline pro log making 500+, but this is just about the best flowing log manifold out there and my numbers would still be much higher with a better flowing mani.

I'll be blunt. 310 is good for a log manifold at those boost levels. Log manifolds suck. A good tubular manifold will spool faster and make a lot more power. I wish that there weren't any log manifolds on the market for the S2000. They do the car a disservice. I have owned, driven, and tuned both log and tubular manifolds. There is no comparison... If you can't afford a tubular manifold, you can't afford to turbo the S2000: buy a used supercharger kit instead.

Do you feel that your last statement applies for a closed motor, stock head gasket, daily driven car?

If one is looking for around 300bhp with a fat midrange for everyday fun, is there any real benefit going for a tubular manifold?

that seems like really good numbers. i was checking the oil on my car the other day and noticed "wiggle" on my turbo. so i took a look at the studs that were going from my turbo to my manifold and only two were in LOL. the two that were still in were also very loose. i ordered new bolts and put them in and the car runs so much better. im starting to wonder if it was like this when i got tuned. i can only imagine how much power i probably lost if this was like that during tuning. after i get a new map sensor i will be getting retuned shortly. praying for better numbers

tubular manifold will be better spool up & overall perfomance but with extra $$$
