Default Pre-Tuning Hints, Tricks, Tips

So I will be taking my car to get tuned next week and I was wondering what kind of advice or problems you guys had when it came time to tune your car.

tripple check everything for leaks or anything that needs to be tightened, dont rev the car high at all, basicly start up, make sure everything looks in order and take it to the tuner, good luck

check all connections etc for oil/vac leaks, bring fresh set of plugs, make sure your boost control solenoid is working, check fluid levels (oil) and you should be golden.

Bring everything you think you probably won't need, because you just might.

If the tuner is installing anything, make sure you have any needed OEM parts like gaskets or injector o-rings.

Call the tuner (yes, again) and confirm the date/time and make sure they understand any mods or installation work they will perform prior to the tune.

Get there early. Bring any E-85 or race gas you plan to tune with, or fill up with pump gas just beforehand.
