Precision 5557
Hey everyone. I have just purchased a kit with a custom tubular manifold, tial 44mm wastegate, big Garrett bar end plate front mount IC. I am going to be running this kit on a stock motor s2000. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with a similar setup or if anyone has tried out the 5557? I am also going to be wanting to use an e85 tune on this car as I have a pump within 5 miles of my house, and was wondering what kind of fuel you all would use as far as injectors/pump? Tried researching this turbo as much as possible before posting but couldnt find a max boost pressure or any firm max HP numbers with this turbo. Thanks in advance.

PS: I will be getting AEM EMS for standalone.

The 5557SP is a great turbo. Spools quick and makes decent power. On E85 it should be a lot of fun. Depending on your goals I would recommend ID1000 fuel injectors, Bosch 044 fuel pump and a Weldon A2040 fuel pressure regulator. That should be more than enough fuel for that turbo on E85.
Looking for a solid 400-450 daily with the option of running around 500, at the wheels. This should be attainable with this turbo if I'm not mistaken? I have read in more than one thread across the internet that precision has UNDER rated these turbos? Unsure of how realisitic that is, I guess I will be finding out!

I got a steal on a 95 percent complete kit, so i will be working with what i have for now (the 5557, unless someone wants to trade and downsize which i doubt). I will be spending the next week or so cleaning the kit up on my free time and will get some pics posted. Thanks for the help so far.

Sell it and get the turbo you want. Its cheaper to do it now rather than having to pay for another tune.

I already know what kind of financial submarine I'm sinking myself into. The turbo is the least of my concerns lol, I am more worried about having the money to drop on other expensive bits as my power progresses down the line. If I had the money to, I would buy a v160, a gtx35r, and an 8.8 rearend, but I don't have 15k laying around. That is why 400 whp or a little more will suffice for now.
