I am mounting my cooler as described, I'm curious how/where you mounted yours.

Anyone have any pics, without the bumper?

 

i removed the front crash beam and cut and notched the 2 side rails and then drilled holes through them to use lag bolts with lockwashers and the ic fits perfectly between the frame rails, then you can bolt back on the front crash beam and install because it sits flush with it..

Good info.

I welded some L brackets into a T and used that to mount to the framerails....just not sure if it's going to sit back far enough. I want to use 3" on the cold side and I'm afraid the bend will hit the bumper..

 

Just finished bolting mine up tonight.
