Default Precision 6262 Dyno Results

well we got bored after work today and decided to see what was wrong with the s2000. As some of you may know, i had boost tapering issues and boost lag probs. so today after looking at the car on the lift, we found huge crack on the wastegate portion of the manifold We are still having boost tapering issues (5 psi drop) which prob means more money that i gotta dump into this thing to make it not taper LOL! anyway im done with my rambling and here are the results!

dang man, you were losing a lot of spoolup !!! how much boost are you running? Maybe that turbo just cant hold boost and you need more compressor or turbine?

we are going to try different exhaust housing but i think it has to do with my intercooler being too small.

thanks. it on super conservative tune right now. we decided to call it a day since boost doesnt hold and having ignition probs. its has stock intake manifold.

The stock manifold might be causing the problems up top, but what size IC are you running? Ive used the 6262 with pretty large cores, and with how much airflow they can push you def need one.

what size core do ya have? 30psi is a lot...you may be getting a little pressure loss across the core. You may be onto something....

what size turbine are you running?

either way man its still pretty impressive

What gap are you running on your spark plugs? You could be blowing the spark out at that boost level if the gap is too great. Try gapping to something like .018"-.020" and see if that helps with ignition.

Also, what HP intercooler are you running? I've got the Inline-Pro 750 HP and hope it doesn't give me fits when I get up to 700+ whp.
