How did u mount your intercooler? Please post pics. Did you remove the support beam?

yea ummm all the pics are deleted. I saw that thread I was just hoping someone had some pics of the brackets or bolts there using. I saw santuatur(sp?) thread also but there wasnt to much help there. Thanks

I don't see why its necessary to notch the frame. Back when I installed my precision FMIC all I did was use a set of aluminum L-brackets to mount it to the holes that were already on the underside of the frame. One of the POS brackets that originally came with my turbo kit snapped after a few months, but I just replaced it with a thicker L-bracket and it held fine after that. I thought that it was positioned perfectly in the bumper as well.

man i just made two brackets that basically hung the intercoller from the support bean.

thats what i did! dont have a final pic but the red would be the bracket and the intecooler was flush with the crash beam ...
