yea i've heard that when i first installed my turbo!!! i thought it was the coolant line in from my turbo since it was its first time ever going through the turbo. What is that anways?

I have not heard of it except for when i first installed my turbo kit upon its first startup with the AEM EMS.

I had it..
turned out to be a leaky FPR leaving some amount of gas in the piston.. when the aem cycles up it heats the coils.. and booyah.. only every so often..

i replaced the FPR.. and walah.. it no longer occurs..

*** I said aem first.. that was a mistake.. i meant FPR ***

i had my manifold off a few days ago to do some work to my car, but i cycled the ignition and it did the same noise. Only this time exhaust ports were open to air. It was much louder, but did not sound like an actual explosion. When i went up to the front of the car, it smelled like unburnt fuel, not burnt!
