Default Problem with eManage Ultimate

I just finished wiring in my friend's Emanage Ultimate. I triple checked all the wiring and set the parameters according to this thread:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...ic=408667&st=0

The car started and idled fine the first time. No problems whatsoever. When I tried starting it for a second time, the idle got really bad and you could smell tons of unburnt fuel. After rechecking the settings, I started it for the third time, and the car would barely even idle. The fourth time it won't even start.

Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I currently have the injector and ignition maps enabled but everything at 0. I previously tried disabling all maps and that didn't work either.

When you re-checked your wiring did you thoroughly check it? I had the same problem with my emanage and turned out one of the wires got mixed up and was supplying fully power to an injector just dumping fuel and my car would barely run.

well, if the wires weren't input correctly, i would assume that the car would have this problem starting the first time. The first time we started everything ran fine. Any ideas?

Mods these two threads need to be merged plz.

Need as much info as you can provide on how the car is modded and if some other part was also changed at the same time as the ULT went in.

Any current CELs or Pending CELs

I had the same problem. One of the previous soldered wires for the map sensor from my comptech map clamp came un soldered. I found the wire and re soldered and was fine. A second time it happened also and the problem was the vacuum line to the map came off.

It really sounds like your car is loading up with fuel and would get progressively worse, if your positive that all your wiring is fine maybe look somewhere else...Did you upgrade your fuel pump? FMU? Fuel pressure?
