Default problem with my s2k (turbo)

I finally got my turbo installed last weekend. The kit I bought was already on a s2k before so we checked on the aem ems to make sure the air /fuel was ok. Yesterday the car turned off by it self. I coudn't start it right away, I had to wait a good 5-7 minutes. Then it would start again, I would drive 3-4 minutes and the car would shutdown again. It's pretty weird and I can't figure out what's wrong. Everything seems alright.

Can some of you give me some hints ?

Thx for your help

BTW.. I'm sorry for my bad english.

I would take it to a tuner and see if everything is alright. Eventhough its the same make and model, all cars are different. This just might be the case.

A tuner should be able to diagnose a problem like this as well.

Check to see if the 2nd fan is turning on. Sounds like you might be over heating and the aem is shutting the fuel pump off for safety reasons. Check the coolant values in the aem. AEM released new coolant values. I'll try and find the link on aem's forum

that would make sens.. I was driving for maybe 45 minutes when it happened yesterday. But I let her cool down for a good 45 minutes and it did it right away again. I'll check my fan again. And the other thing is when I put the key ON, I hear the fuel pump right away so I guess it's not cutting it off..

I really want to bring it to a tuner but I live in montreal and there are not a lot and there are all busy for at least a month.. so that's why I'm pretty stock.

Do you hear a clicking sound before the car shuts off?

not even, I'm driving not even boosting, and I feel like the gaz pedal doesn't respond at all and I realise my car shuts down. But there is no noise...

hmm..ok..Im still leaning towards over heating. Do you have a water temp gauge hooked up? Also, when you turn the A/C on does the 2nd fan kick on?

it would make sens. I don't have a temp gauge but I have the modifry that do the conversion so the OEM one works. Tonight when I'll get back from work I'll check if the 2nd fan kicks in with the AC. Yesterday I pu A/C when I was driving for a couple of minutes.. maybe something when wrong. If the over heating would be the problem I guess tonight the car should start OK ?

couple things.. Is the Modifry installed? If so how many bars are you getting? Is the turbo water cooled? Did you have to drain the coolant for the install? If so you most likely have to bleed the air out of the system.
