Default Probs with Turbo

Hey guys was wondering if any of you had a problem when your driving and your turbo is suppose to kick in it just wont go past 5k and jerks you back and forth like ftom 4k- 5k rpm and back ? I guess i need to clarify alittle the car will go past 5k rpm if am not in boost when i step on it it wont go past 5k rpm

Sounds like detonation my friend. Check for things that would cause your turbo to overboost.

I had that problem, my tune on my emanage got messed up, i reloaded my tune and worked. I dno what system you are using, but maybe try that. If its not tuned it will do that also

take it to a tuner, be careful with it man. Monitor your air/fuel if you arent already...make sure your not running lean.

Ok ill try that was running fine for 2 years and all of a sudden today it is acting up i thought it was the hose on the turbo came off but ill try reloading my tune from my laptop and go from there

Oh i dont think its detonation cause i am running it at 7 psi and i have a full built engine from inline pro but i guess you never know :S

Well bump i checked my boost and my a/f ration seems to be fine thinking the boost controller hose must be kinked or something maybe

it's been said already but most likely that's a tuning / electronics problem not necessarily a problem with the turbo kit itself.

Well i have the
GT35 R turbo
with 675 injectors management system is aem ems
i had a similar problem like this before where the nipple on the turbo is the hose came off and every time i tried to go in boost it just jerks i put the hose back and it worked gonna check the whole hose tomorrow ill keep this updated
