Wow! I dont know about that yellow S. I'm wondering if the sparks coming out, along with the smoking is caused by detonation and pieces of the piston top being burned.
there's no detonation or anything, maybe unburnt gases on smoke and carbon build ups for the sparks and saw the dyno sheet with the rpm up to 9400.

Very cool video Marc!

Yeah I thought those 'sparks' was just carbon build ups being burn out of your exhaust. Looks crazy though.

Spark theory: If that yellow one has a catalytic converter, might be a few pieces of the ceramic getting puked out after being melted by high EGTs...

A few up dates on the kit. Our test car is still problem free, minus a tiny oil leak that was taken care of. We have already made updates on the kit to make it better although it's still working fantastic. Some people were worried about the V-band and its strength, The V-Band we are using is actually a V-band from Tial that they made and use on their turbos. There will be a brace after the flex piece on the down pipe, in the same area that the OEM header has a brace. This will be to avoid any extra stress from the weight of the exhaust.

We also plan on offering different turbos for the kit, to fit ones application. We have been making a ram horn setup for a while for those that are looking for something along that line. We do take special orders also. Ill post up new pictures soon.

Update:

Even though rain has not really let up here in Oregon, I managed to log just over 500 miles with the turbo kit so far.

Between the mix of:

- Stop and go traffic, 1hr+ per trip.
- Normal highway driving. 60-70mph
- Multiple highway pulls in 3rd and 4th gear
- Stop and go rush hour driving on normal streets
- Dyno pulls

There is no noticeable vibration coming from the engine bay. All temperature stays within spec.

I've been taking the car to Forged on a weekly basis for health check, and so far like John has mentioned, we only found a small leak that was taken care of by tighten things some a bit more.

My plan is to setup a time to take the car to the strips and see what kind of trap speed it can do. I'm not an experience 1/4 mile guy, so I doubt I will do that great with the actual times.
